A cross-sectional study was performed to examine the prevalence of refractive errors in a representative sample of 16–19 years old Norwegian Caucasians (Hagen et al., 2018).


The participants completed an online questionnaire, an adapted version of the one used in the Sydney Myopia study (Ojaimi et al., 2005), to obtain demographic data and to quantify the amount of time spent on various indoor and outdoor activities. The questionnaire was translated into Norwegian.
