The relative number of long (L) and middle (M) wavelength sensitive cones (L:M cone ratio), L and M opsin genes and their association with common refractive errors were studied in a population with low myopia prevalence.
(i) Data for 60 male normal trichromats
(ii) Data for 33 female normal trichromats with identical L cone peak sensitivities
(iii) Data for 43 female normal trichromats with distinct L cone peak sensitivities
